Make some goals, organize your week & stay focused.
I think there are two types of people, those who set goals and does who don’t. I am so happy that I belong to the first group even though it’s hard sometimes, but you know you have to push yourself if you want to achieve your goals. We all desire big goals & the main thing we have to do is believe in ourselves.
There’s logical and not so secret formula for achieving your goals. I will share 5 simple steps that help me stay motivated & I hope will help you too.
1. GET CLEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT
Write down your goals and stop confusing yourself. Get clear and specific. People who write down their goals are 80% likely to achieve them. I like to look at mine everyday and I like to write them everywhere. The fact of matter is since you’ve been seeing these goals daily they will always be there in the back of your mind.
2. TAKE SMALL STEPS & HAVE FUN
Love what you do and do what you love. Every successful story started with small steps & hard work. Don’t compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 20. This is one thing I get easily confused by. I would like to be as someone who have worked years on their career. But that is impossible. Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day-in and day-out.
3. CONSISTENCY IS KEY
This is a big one. What you do everyday matters more than what you do every once in a while. That means you have to do it even the days you don’t feel like doing it. Get in a habit and slowly but surely you will begin to make progress. It’s time to kill your ”to-do” list!
4. REWARD YOURSELF
Don’t wait until you’ve reached your goal to be proud of yourself. Be proud of every step you take toward reaching that goal.
5. BE GRATEFUL
Never let the things you want make you forget the things you have.
Be happy with what you have while working for what you want.
